CoCreate OneSpace Modeling is a Windows-based 3D CAD application developed by CoCreate Software GmbH. It uses a direct (explicit) modeling approach, allowing engineers and designers to create and modify geometry without a history or feature tree. This makes it easy to iterate rapidly, incorporate late-stage design changes, and work effectively with imported models from other CAD systems.

The software supports solid and surface modeling, robust assembly management (including large assemblies), and dedicated tools for sheet metal design such as bend allowances and automatic flat pattern generation. It provides 2D drawing and annotation capabilities, mass property calculations, interference and clearance checks, and exploded views for documentation.

OneSpace Modeling offers broad interoperability through standard exchange formats such as STEP, IGES, DXF/DWG, and STL. It integrates with CoCreate’s Model Manager for product data management, enabling version control, access management, and team collaboration. Users can tailor workflows and automate tasks through available APIs and scripting.

Well suited for industries that require fast change and frequent iteration—such as machinery, equipment, and electronics enclosures—CoCreate OneSpace Modeling later evolved into PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling following CoCreate’s acquisition by PTC.
